1. Company informations

Online Sales for tours and other programmes on www.amazinghvar.com, are done by Maruša j.d.o.o turistička agencija, Amazing Hvar Tours DMC, (below: Amazing Hvar) Id-Code: HR-AB-21-060297474, Biskupa Jurja Dubokovića 22, 21450 Hvar, Croatia. The company is registered in the Commercial Court in Split. Personal identification number (OIB) of the company is: 70771020246.


2. Conditions

Seller is Maruša j.d.o.o. turistička agencija, a customer is a visitor of this site, which fill the electronic order, send the seller and make payment via credit card or bank transfer.

Maruša j.d.o.o. reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions. Any changes will apply to the use of websites amazinghvar.com.

The terms and conditions below are the basis of an agreement between you as a customer, and Amazing Hvar as the travel agency. We therefore hope that you will read the conditions before you book your tours and other programmes.

Booking a tour or other programmes are binding for both customers and the tour operator once the deposit has been paid.

The names of the participants given to Amazing Hvar have to be according to the names in the travellers’ passports.


3. Other conditions

The following rules apply unless other conditions are stipulated in the tour itinerary or practical information relating to the specific tour on our website.

Please note that some tours have different conditions. These conditions will be stated in the special terms and conditions relating to the specific tour or programme on our website.

We reserve the right to change itinerary due to unexpected circumstances, such as: weather changes or unfavourable weather conditions without compensating the damages, safety conditions and similar.


4. Insurance 

We recommend that you buy health insurance and travel insurance so your excursions are insured in case you, your travel companion or immediate family member becomes ill.

Amazing Hvar has compulsory insurance. However, it does not cover insurance of the participant’s personal belongings. Should personal belongings be damaged or lost on a tour, it is at one’s own expense. We therefore recommend that you take out an insurance that covers these cases before leaving your home country. It is of paramount importance regarding transportation in case of illness, as well as home transportation, etc. when you are travelling abroad as your public health insurance normally does not cover this.

All travellers are responsible for having the appropriate insurance coverage.

Participation on a tour presumes responsible and considerate behaviour, and you are expected to comply with the directions of Amazing Hvar.

Amazing Hvar strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance to protect your investment.


5. Right to cancel any arrangements

Amazing Hvar is not responsible for delayed ferries between Split and Island of Hvar or any other destination. Should you be delayed on your journey to Island of Hvar, resulting in you not being able to participate in a purchased tour, we ask you to contact Amazing Hvar as soon as possible. We will try to move the tour, but there is no guarantee of this being possible.

We regret that refunds cannot be issued for any unused portion of a program once your tour program has begun.

Amazing Hvar reserves the right to cancel arrangements due to the following conditions: not enough participants, technical problems and bad weather. It is the skipper of the boat or Amazing Hvar who makes the decision to cancel the tour e.g. due to bad weather – not the customer.

If Amazing Hvar cancels a tour, because of the reasons mentioned above, the full amount will be refunded to the customer.


6. Service cancelation due to Risk Assesment

Amazing Hvar tourist agency holds the right to exclude from the tour any person, if they find that the person is not capable for participating safely in the tour, or if they evaluate that the person might harm the safety of the tour or other members on the tour. In such case no refund or compensation of damage will be made to excluded individual(s).


7. Travel Documents

Customers must have valid personal travel documents. Invalid documents leading to the cancellation of the travel shall not result in any harmful consequences for Amazing Hvar tourist agency, and, if Amazing Hvar tourist agency should suffer additional damages due to such an omission by a Customer, the Customer must compensate the damages suffered. If a travel document should be lost or stolen during travel, the costs of issuing new documents shall be borne by the Customer Amazing Hvar’s tour guide shall assist the Customer in such a situation, taking care of the normal course of the program thereby. If a certain travel requires a visa, Amazing Hvar tourist agency may assist in obtaining such visa at a special additional fee. Amazing Hvar tourist agency shall not be held responsible for decisions by customs or police or other state authorities banning passenger's entry into a particular country.


8. Foreign Exchange and Customs Regulations

Customers must comply with all foreign exchange and customs regulations, laws and other by-laws of the Republic of Croatia and other countries through which they travel and where they stay. If the tour cannot be continued because a Customer has violated the regulations, all incurred costs shall be borne solely by the person having violated the regulations.


9. Health Regulations

Travel to some countries is conditioned by mandatory vaccination against specific diseases. When travelling to such countries, the Customer must hold certificates and documents of vaccinations.


10. Baggage

In case of transport, a Customer may have 2 pieces of personal baggage. Customers must take care of their belongings brought on the vehicle and are obliged to bring them along whenever leaving the bus. Otherwise, Customers shall be responsible for theft, loss or damage of objects left unattended in the bus.


11. Liability

Amazing Hvar does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of those service providers over whom we have no direct control.

We do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force of events which are beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action. In a case of dispute, the court will be local and territorial jurisdiction, Split, Croatia.


12. Minimum number of participants

Minimum number of participants apply. Certain tours can only be carried out with a minimum number of participants. The minimum number is specified on the tour descriptions. We do, in a few cases, make exceptions and carry out tours with fewer participants.

Cancellation of tours due to minimum number of participants can happen up to an hour before the start of the tour. If this should happen, we will do our utmost to offer an alternative tour. If this is not possible, the tour will be cancelled and the client will receive a full refund.


13. Cancellations by customer

If you want to cancel your trip, Amazing Hvar may refund your voucher at their sole discretion, in which event you will be required to pay a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees depend on the possibility of cancellation stated for each booked service.

14. Cancellation policy:

– FOR TOURS: Written cancellation up to 48 hours before the trip is free of charge. For any cancellations received later or no-shows, a cancellation fee will be charged in the amount of the travel price.

– FOR OTHER PROGRAMMES where Amazing Hvar requires a 50% deposit of the total cost:

Written cancellations received less than 59 days prior to arrival are subject to the following conditions:

- up to 60 days prior to departure, free of charge
- 59 to 40 days prior to departure, 30% of the package price
- 39 to 15 days prior to the departure, 40% of the package price
- 14 to 7 days prior to the departure, 60% of the package price
- 6 to 0 days and after the departure, 100% of the package price

No show: 100% of the total amount will be retained by Amazing Hvar as a cancellation penalty fee.

In case of canceling the booking, we will refund you price paid in advance for the service after upper cancellation fees conditions.

We do not refund bank transaction fees or credit card fees.

In the event of a cancellation and refund, no further claim for compensation can be made against Amazing Hvar.


15. Start time or date change

We reserve the right to change the date or time written on the ticket. We therefore recommend that you contact Amazing Hvar immediately after your arrival to Split or Hvar to get an updated programme for the day.


16. Pick up time and location arrangements

Please reconfirm the hotel pick-up time for booked day tours and other programmes with Amazing Hvar the day before. Your hotel front desk can assist you with this. Amazing Hvar will not pick up participants from hotels outside of town Hvar or Hotels not reachable by car.

Please note that hotel transfers from other destinations on the island of Hvar to pick up/meeting point point are not included. Hotel transfers outside Hvar town are on request with extra charge.


17. Prices

The tour price includes planning, handling and operational charges. Rates are quoted in EURO per person, if not other specified.

Any extra program costs, such as car, driver, guide services, entrance tickets or any other type service must be paid for at the time of purchase.


18. Included in price

Not included in your tour program are personal and other expenses for services not described in your ticket.

This site precisely indicates what is included in the paid price. Some products and services will be fully charged by this site, while some will require additional payment directly to the service provider. This information is precisely given on the page of each product or service.


19. Payment

This site uses Regiondo payment gateways (booking solution) and does not get any information about the customer’s credit cards. Full payment must be made upon booking the tour.

Certain payment options do not apply to all products and services.

For other programmes Amazing Hvar requires a 50% deposit of the total cost of the booking upon reservation. The balance of the payment will be due 10 days prior to arrival. The reservation will not be confirmed until the deposit amount is received. Availability and pricing is subject to change until the deposit amount is received. All deposits are non refundable.

20. Complaints

Complaints should consist of your name, surname, address and email address for a reply.

We will answer your complaint in writing within 15 days after receiving the complaint.


21. Personal data protection

Declaration on the protection of personal data of customers Amazing Hvar Maruša j.d.o.o turistička agencija, which owns the amazinghvar.com pledges to protect customers personal data in a way that it collects only the necessary, basic information about customers/users that are necessary to fulfil our obligations. All information are strictly confidential and available only to employees who need such information to perform their job. All employees of the company are responsible for respecting the policy.


22. Changes to this Terms & Conditions

We have the right to make changes to this policy. Any changes we make will be published on this website. This Terms & Conditions were last updated in February 2025.


23. Final Provisions

These Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the Contract that the Customer enters into with Amazing Hvar tours tourist agency i.e., an authorised travel agency where they booked the trip organised by Amazing Hvar tours tourist agency. Possible/anticipated deviations from these Terms and Conditions must be stated with the text of the tour program, if dealing with tour operators – international travel organizers. By signing the contract, the Customer fully accepts the program and these Terms and Conditions. The issue of these Terms and Conditions makes all previous versions null and void.
