Hvar is known as the Lavender island. Lavender has been used in a medicinal capacity for over 2500 years, and it’s perfume has also a therapeutic use. The Lavender is grown on the hills and rocky slopes of the island of Hvar. The months of June and July when finds the island at it’s peak, and the scent and sights are breathtaking.

We will visit the Lavender fields around the village of Brusje, high up on the old road to Stari Grad. This village has stunning views of the seas and mainland. We walk through Lavender fields, appreciate the magnificent colour and breathe in the hypnotic qualities.

After the Lavender fields we are treated to a traditional Dalmatian light refreshment. Before the tour ends you will get a nice unique handmade souvenir with a note from the island of Hvar. Small and easy to pack in your luggage for you or your family and friends.

DEPARTURE TIME: 11:00 or 17:00

PLACE OF DEPARTURE: We will pick you up at your hotel, villa, private accommodation, bus station,… Your departure point will be decided at time of booking.

DURATION: This is a half day tour (2 – 3 hours).
