MayWe are an established family business, proudly servicing Hvar with unique and individual services. I remember as a young girl, on our first family holiday, visiting Hvar, with her clear waters and beautiful beaches.
Years later, I visited Hvar again with some friends. It remained the peaceful island I had remembered, with stunning scenery and friendly locals. Just the remedy needed for a full time, hard working girl in a very stressful job. Whilst in Hvar I met, and fell in love with a local fisherman, Tonći. We married and decided to live in Hvar. As a young girl, I promised my mother that one day I would return to live in Hvar. My dream has now come true.
I still see my beautiful Hvar though the eyes of that young girl, but with a few changes…

Owner Urška Barišić was born in Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia. She completed her secondary school studies, with particular interest in design and photography. She studied Administrative sciences at University, and after graduating worked for a large company in Ljubljana in their Marketing and Sales department. During her time there she assisted with interior, fashion and floral design. She continues her passions, including photography. Cofounder Tonći Barišić was born and raised on the idyllic island of Hvar. Forty years in successful family Guesthouse business has secured Tonći’s passion and knowledge about his beloved Hvar. His passion for the sea makes him a fine fisherman and diver. His interest in Hvar also extends to the famous olive trees, Lavender farms and vineyards of Hvar, making Tonći also an accomplished wine make. There is a little about Hvar, that Tonći does not know!
